Children’s art and design competition

The art and design competition is a creative way for young people to show us what they would like from the places they live, such as their homes, streets, and neighbourhoods.

Submissions could include a drawing, a painting, a physical or digital 3D model (such as Minecraft or sketch-up), a piece of abstract art, a written description or a poem. We can only accept digital entries (photographs or screenshots of the artwork) using the link below.

We do not want to limit children’s creativity so have left the format of entries and media open. The entries will be judged by Council officers, with one guest judge on 3 main criteria, creativity, clarity of ideas, and quality of presentation, with regard to the age of the entrant.

There are three prizes to be won for each age range. The winner will receive a £50 gift voucher and two runners up will receive a £25 gift voucher.

Please provide the entrants name and age group, with a preferred contact email below.

The winners will be announced shortly after the consultation period closes on the 30th November 2024.

Good luck!☺
